General Information

An invention disclosure form (IDF), is a confidential document written by an inventor (e.g., engineer, scientist) for use by the Company to determine whether patent protection should be sought for the described invention.  The form should provide sufficient information to permit (1) Company’s  invention committee and/or other decisionmakers to assess whether the invention in question has merit, and (2) patent attorneys to write a solid patent application concerning the invention.
